How We Are Different
100% Volunteer Run: Our operations are fueled entirely by the dedication of our volunteers. This ensures that every donation we receive is maximized to benefit the communities we serve.
Personal Connection: We don't just send aid; we build relationships. Our team maintains a personal connection to the communities we support, understanding their needs and fostering trust.
Sponsorship Program: We believe in empowerment through engagement. Our sponsorship program allows donors to not only contribute financially but also to become an active part of the cause they support, seeing the direct impact of their contributions.

Our Story
Stronger Together
OWE's President & co-founder, Cara Sottile, CRNP, has been providing humanitarian relief in Haiti since their catastrophic earthquake in 2010. In January of 2019, it was discovered that the 85 children living at Damabiah Orphanage were only eating and drinking every 2-3 days due to a significant lack of resources and insufficient logistical systems.
With the help from OWE CEO and co-founder Michael Scarpati, Cara coordinated with their network in Haiti and the U.S. to begin bi-weekly food and resource deliveries for the children and staff at Damabiah Orphanage. In order to sustain these deliveries and begin working on other necessary projects, a board of directors was formed, and a vision was created to provide more meaningful assistance to the children at Damabiah Orphanage & the local Hatian community.
